L’Observatoire International is a lighting design firm, founded in 1993 by Hervé Descottes known for combining light with architecture to create unparalleled immersive atmospheres. Emphasizing collaboration, L’Observatoire provides lighting design and art direction to a range of indoor and outdoor spatial expressions including art and cultural institutions, performing arts centers, large-scale public spaces, parks, private residences, luxury commercial properties, hotels, restaurants and more. With a highly collaborative, hands-on approach, the firm works throughout every stage of the development process to heighten architectural intentions and create a bespoke ambience that transforms the experience of the space.
